Peter Block’s Six Conversations
A workshop with Lee Rush - Executive Director- justCommunity, Inc.
Join us for a series of four 1 ½ hour ZOOM workshops, designed to immerse participants in the art of engagement and building connections. Based on Peter Block’s best-selling book, Community: The Structure of Belonging, each session will explore the meaning and practice of the six conversations outlined in the book.
The Six Conversations are a valuable approach to community building which links perfectly with Restorative Practice.
Lee Rush has been working with the Six Conversations approach to community building in such diverse settings such as schools, non-profit organizations, elected government bodies and faith communities.
Recently Lee was asked to be the keynote speaker for the US Federal Emergency Management Administration’s (FEMA) annual Higher Education Institute.
Lee has studied for many years with Peter Block at his regularly held intensive events called A Small Group held in Cincinnati, Ohio, and works as a consultant with Designed Learning, Inc., the organization Block founded to carry on his work.
Lee, based in Pennsylvania, is the Executive Director of justCommunity, Inc., a non-profit company he founded in 1999.
justCommunity provides restorative practices training and consultation services. Lee is also a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice (NACRJ).
